Russell Crowley, the founder of Omega Entertainment, has
been performing live since the age of 6.
During Russell's career, as the lead vocalist & keyboard player, he led and coordinated the highly successful Rock and Rock & Roll Band, "Rough Diamond", winning 3 successive "Battle of the Bands" competitions and obtaining international recognition.
Under Russell's leadership, the band performed as the opening act for international musicians such as The Commodores, P J Powers, Dr. Victor and the Rasta Rebels, Mango Groove and many more. The band was also often requested to perform for the United Nations, Canada Day Celebrations and the American Independence Celebrations.
Russell Led the band from 1980 to 1995, when the band was disbanded.
After the disbanding of "Rough Diamond", Russell performed as a solo artist at many functions and was entered into the Sanlam NBC Music Makers Awards Competition where he won "Best Pop and Rock" award 2004.
With Russell's entertainment experience he founded Omega Entertainment, with a vision of providing unique, quality and hassle free entertainment services to the South African Market.
